GENERAL INFORMATION

Aging Clinical and Experimental Research offers a multidisciplinary forum on the explosively progressing field of gerontology and geriatrics. The areas covered by the journal include: biogerontology, neurosciences, epidemiology, clinical gerontology and
geriatric assessment, social, economical and behavioral gerontology. “Aging clinical and experimental research” is published bimonthly in English and features review articles, original papers and reports. The journal has recently implemented a new service for Authors and Readers by devoting a new section of the web site (www.kurtis.it) to “Ahead-of-print articles” in order to make papers accessible online upon acceptance of the manuscript, that is to say months before the final versions are published. This “Ahead-of-print articles” section allows readers to visit and cite the accepted papers by a DOI number that identifies every article also in its printed final version. The journal is cited in Index Medicus and MEDLINE/PUBMED (MEDLARS system), in the Excerpta Medica Database (EMBASE), in Current Contents/Clinical Medicine (CC/CM) and Current Contents/Life Sciences (CC/LS), in Chemical Abstract, PASCAL and SIIC Data Bases.
 

“Aging clinical and experimental research” has been recognized as having “high cultural value” by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
